Foxhall Farm has developed a worldwide reputation as host of the Foxhall Cup National Championship of Eventing as well as host farm for competitors in the 1996 Atlanta Olympics and host of the final selection trials for the 2000 U.S. Olympic Equestrian team just prior to their departure for Sydney.

We think of Foxhall as our bit of paradise where we can raise our children, dogs, and horses. We also feel strongly that the triad of horse-dog-human is a very special relationship that we are preserving for future generations by focusing much of our attention as breeders on the behavioral traits that create this special bond.

Bonnie Mosser aboard Jenga - winners of the 2004 Foxhall Cup - Jim & Nicholas Richards presenting the trophy (which is full of champaigne!)
Karen O'Conner aboard Prince Panache - winners of the 2002 Foxhall Cup. Karen has two of our dogs.

It is easy to label a particular dog as horse-friendly or horse-savvy. It is much harder to develop a unique phenotype that breeds 'true-to-type' with innate traits...
